Bangladesh on the other side of the coin try to avoid toss and choose to bat.
On Sikandar Raza, the captain of Zimbabwe, threw the decision to bowl first in the 4th T20 match against Bangladesh in Dhaka. Visitors suffered from losing the wicketkeeper Joylord Gumbie and middle-order batter Craig Ervine, while left-arm quick Richard Ngarava and batman Ryan Burl were added to the team.

With the away captain of Bangladesh Najmul Hossain Shanto also, it was made up to bowl first.
However, Shakib Al Hasan had replaced Muhammad Saifuddin for Bangladesh and entered the squad along with Soumya Sarkar and Mustafizur Rahman and everyone else who was part of the team ahead of this game. Mahmudullah, Litton Das and Mohammad Saifuddin’s place on the playing eleven was taken by the three cricketers.
Shakib did take part in the last T20I that took place in July 2023, right before he got an eye condition and was injured (his finger got dislocated) which didn’t let him take part in any matches after the ODI World Cup last year. Sowmya and Srikanth, both of them, were in the side together after being rested a while afer taking a part in the IPL program of Chennai Super Kings.
